Q:What is better, hp or dell?

1.don't pay attention to brand names. they mean nothing. all the companies use the same parts none are better than any other (with the exception of customer service). if you buy a fast computer, it will be fast. if you buy a slow computer, it will be slow. doesn't matter what brand it is. as for pricing, you can generally find coupon codes online for dell computers and in my experience they have been a little bit cheaper than HP because of this. my advice is to find a tech savy friend and explain to them exactly what you need out of a computer and ask for reccomendations as to what specs you should get in a computer

wow, ok... i was just thinking about design, because again, dell and hp only make the HARDWARE!

3.Get a Mac! I love mine ... I have had both Dell (always had problems)

and HP (better than Dell) Then I got a Mac ... No comparison!

4.I'd advise against dell. I ordered an Inspiron on July 24th. It is now August 24th, and the ship date is constantly being moved forward. It was supposed to be here on the 20th, then supposed to ship on the 23rd, then supposed to ship on the 30th, and now they tell me it will ship Sept 15th!

If you want a computer anytime this year don't buy a dell. By the way, I am not trying to slam dell - it's just the truth.

5.Im Not sure about them but i have an Acer and not only are they quite cheap but they are brilliant and really fast!
